Seniors Sign Letters of Intent

2018 CB Elite seniors have made commitments to local community colleges. Dakota Egbert signed with Big Bend Community College and Kiana Miller signed with Blue Mountain Community College. They will join CB Elite alumni Hailey Miller (2017), Laurissa Kisler (2016) and Makenzie Gurrero (2016) who all continued their volleyball career at the collegiate level.

According to Michael De Hoog U-18 head coach both girls have a very bright volleyball future, "Dakota is a very athletic player and her defensive skill set is very strong.  Her quickness and physical strength are going to transfer the next level very well.  She is an intense competitor, but also possesses a very upbeat attitude and selfless character.  I think she is just scratching the surface of reaching her potential.  I’m excited to continue coaching her the next two years at Big Bend and watch that growth occur.

Kiana’s ball control is very steady and her presence in the back row has the ability to swing matches in her team’s favor.  On defense, she reads so well that she makes it look easy and her serve receive is very solid.  Her serve is tough and she can pick apart passers.  I think she is going to do very good things for Jessica at Blue Mountain.

Both of these players have been really enjoyable to coach.  They are coachable, they make their teammates better, and they are great people off the court.”

We are so excited that these girls have chosen to continue their volleyball career. We have enjoyed having them in our club and wish them the best this upcoming fall.
